Your vintage football shirts are collectibles – and deserve special care. Follow these tips to preserve the colors, prints and fabric as best as possible:

How to wash:

Hand washing in cold water (max. 30°C) is the most gentle.
If machine washing is necessary: use a gentle cycle without spinning .
Always wash inside out to protect prints and logos.
Use mild detergent without bleach or fabric softener.
Do not wash with clothes with zippers or Velcro as it may scratch the fabric.

Always avoid:

Tumble dryer (heat can damage the material).
Ironing directly onto prints or logos.

Extra tip:

Try stain remover (Vanish and other brands work well).
Let the shirt air dry flat on a towel or on a hanger out of direct sunlight.
Store the shirt in a dry and dark place to avoid faded colors.
